
2025 SAAC Summer and Summer Extended membership information:

- March 3, 2025: Returning 2024 Summer and Summer Extended members are beginning to receive emails with instructions to purchase their summer memberships online. All emails to returning mebmers should be sent by end of day Wednesday, March 5, 2025
- March 24, 2025: Memberships will open for everyone to purchase, either online or in person. This is subject to change.

Please note: There is no waiting list expected for Summer 2025. We do not prorate Summer or Summer Extended memberships.
All refunds will be charged a $30 processing fee.
Membership Dates:
- Summer Extended: April 14 – October 17, 2025
- Summer: May 15 – September 1, 2025
These dates are contingent upon permit and inspection approval.
🚗 Parking Information: Parking is not included in your membership. For visitor parking rates, please visit the Emory Transportation & Parking Services website.
Additionally, stay tuned for details about our Summer Pool Party! The date is still TBD, but we’ll share more information soon.

*Payroll deduction: Emory University and Emory Healthcare EMPLOYEES may choose the option of payroll deduction as their method of payment. Payroll deduction cancelation requests: Cancelation requests must be made using the cancelation form in the link below, with 30 days' notice. Form must include your name, employee ID number, membership type, any family members that also need
Payment in full: Members who wish to pay for their membership up front with check or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX or Discover) may visit the office during office hours to complete the application process and make their payment.
Request a member portal username: Current non-employee or non-student members must request a username to be able to access the membership portal to reserve courts or register for programs. Once requested through the form, members will receive their username and a temporary password within 1 business day. Member Username Request Form: Click here
Eligibility*:
Primary members: Primary members are required on Plus 1 and family memberships and must be aged 18+. For employee, student, alumni, and retiree plus one and family memberships, the primary member must maintain a current membership.
Plus 1*: A primary member may add one additional adult OR dependent (under age 26) to their membership. A Plus 1 membership may not be purchased without the primary member maintaining a current membership. The primary member must be present when a Plus 1 membership is sold.
Dependents must be accompanied by their parent or guardian when signing up for membership. Dependents under the age of 16 must be accompanied by their parent/guardian who is age 18 years or older at all times while in the facility. All dependents age of 16+ must have a valid EmoryCard or Athletics & Recreation access card for admittance. Children under 16 are not allowed in the weight area.
Dependents under 3 are free accompanied by parent or guardian.
Family* (effective August 15, 2022): A primary member can add up to 1 spouse/partner and 4 dependents (under age 26) OR 1 spouse/partner, 3 dependents (under age 26) and 1 caregiver* to their existing membership. A dependent is defined as an eligible child under age 26 of the primary member or spouse/partner. Proof of eligibility may be required (e.g., birth certificate, legal paperwork, etc.). A family membership may not be purchased without the primary member maintaining a current membership. The primary member must be present when a family membership is sold.
*Caregivers can only be added if there are dependents on the membership.
*Plus Ones and additional family members listed on a membership plan can be removed but not replaced until the membership expires and is renewed. Daily guest passes are available for purchase.
*Plus Ones and/or Family Members must be the same at both facilities.
Employees - This includes part-time and full-time University and Healthcare employees. Postdoctoral Fellows also fall in the classification.
Affiliates/Alumni
Proof of current affiliate employment or alumni status must be provided at time of sale. Alumni status must be verified by presenting an activated Emory alumni card. Employees of the following organizations are considered affiliates for Athletics and Recreation membership purposes:
- Centers for Disease Control (CDC)
- Children's Hospital of Atlanta (CHOA)
- Veterans Adminstration Hospital (VA Hospital)
- Barnes & Noble at Emory (must have Emorycard)
- Ricoh at Emory (must have Emorycard)
- Bon Appettit at Emory (must have Emorycard)
- Emory Alliance Credit Union
- The Carter Center
- Glenn Memorial Church
- Summer Interns (Clairmont Campus) are not eligible for Plus 1 or family memberships.
