The personal training program within Emory Fitness is designed to give individuals the attention they need to achieve personal health and fitness goals. Our priority is to provide you with the motivation and tools to succeed regardless of age, experience, or fitness level.

As of February 2024, our personal training program is on a waitlist. Upon submission of an application, you will be added to the waitlist in the order in which we received your request.

Personal Training can define your fitness goals, teach you new exercises, increase muscular strength, endurance and/or flexibility, provide functional training opportunities, motivate you to achieve your goals, and equip you with tools to support your healthy lifestyle.

Emory Fitness Certified Personal Trainers will:

  • Motivate you to go beyond just going through the motions
  • Help you develop the motivation to exercise regularly
  • Work with you on every exercise for maximum efficiency and effectiveness

To begin training with a Personal Trainer:

  1. Complete a Personal Training Registration Form.
  2. Once your application is turned in, you will be contacted within 48-72 hours with information on the trainer you will be placed with.
  3. After you have been placed with a trainer, you may then submit your payment by check or credit card (cash is not accepted) at Member Services in the WPEC or at the SAAC Welcome Desk.
