This position’s function is crucial to the day-to-day operations of the Member Services Office and will offer valuable skills in communication, conflict resolution, leadership, problem solving, organization and customer service. Member Service Assistants will work approximately 8-12 hours per week. Assistants’ schedules will function within office hours, which vary based on time of year. Working hours for summer are Monday through Thursday 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday 11:00 a.m to 1:00p.m, and closed on weekends. Hourly rate is $8.00. Facility Assistants perform a variety of duties that assist in the operation of the SAAC. This position is crucial to the day-to-day operations of the SAAC and will challenge the abilities of those chosen while offering them valuable skills in communication, management, and organization. Facility Assistant hours are tentatively Monday through Friday, 6:45am to 12:15am, and Saturday and Sunday, 7:45am to 12:15am. Pool Assistants perform a variety of duties to assist with the maintenance & operations of the WPEC & SAAC pools. Pool Assistants will work approximately 8-10 hours per week. Pool Assistants’ schedules will function within pool hours. Working hours typically fall within the range of 8:00-11:00 a.m. [SAAC] Monday through Sunday and 1:00-6:00pm Monday/Wednesday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday [WPEC]. Pay rate $9.00/hour. Responsibilities include building security, equipment checkout, lost and found, and laundry services. Facility Assistants will work approximately 10-20 hours per week. Summer working hours will fall between 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Monday – Saturday, and 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. The hourly rate is $8.00.
