Emory Rock Climbing Arena

The climbing arena is located on the 1st floor of the George W. Woodruff Physical Education Center adjacent to the basketball arena. The arena includes a variety of challenges including corners and overhangs. The climbing wall was completely renovated in March 1997 to be textured to feel like real stone and provide a larger indoor climbing arena.

The Emory Rock Climbing Arena is currently closed. Now is the time to practice your knots and work on strength training to help with your routes this fall. Eager to get outside but unsure of what opportunities are near you? Check out local parks and recreation information on open trails near you and always practice CDC guidelines on social distancing. Take a virtual tour of national parks here.
